As a freelance writer, my main focus these days is family travel. I contribute to several magazines and websites in addition to my own family travel blog.
Magazines
I contribute to several magazines. I have a regular feature in Hong Kong Family Traveller magazine “The Travel Sage Q&A”, which is an agony aunt-style feature to answer readers’ family travel questions.

I have also written many articles for Expat Parent magazine and have contributed to Holidays with Kids, Regional Skies, Paradise, Food & Travel, Skippers, Holidays for Couples and Storm, amongst others.
Books
I have three published books, including my latest book Singapore with Kids, which is available on Amazon as both an e-book and paperback.
This must-have travel guide is for anyone planning a trip to Singapore as a family. Discover all the highlights of Singapore and how best to tackle them with kids in tow.

Singapore with Kids focuses on all the family-friendly attractions, but also goes deeper to allow you to experience the cultural side to this fascinating tropical metropolis. It covers hotels, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, play rooms and much much more.
My two previously published books are In Singapore: 60 Fabulous Adventures in the City (Marshall Cavendish, 2009) and Your Scottish Wedding: a modern bride’s guide to planning her wedding (Luath Press, 2004).
Websites
In addition to running my own family travel blog Mum on the Move and being part of the founding team of Little City Trips, I also contribute to many other websites on a freelance basis.
This includes providing insider tips for Google’s Touring Bird website and USA Today’s 10Best.com. I have also written reviews for Forbes Travel Guide and written blog posts for company websites as varied as Ovolo Hotels, Pacsafe and Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
